Why I Started Inclusive Pathways Hub

Families Supported

For over eight years, I have had the privilege of supporting children with diverse learning needs across international schools and the wide range of curricula offered in Kenya — with international curricula standing out as a key area of expertise. Along this journey, I have walked side by side with families navigating one of the most important decisions they will ever make: finding the right educational pathway for their child.

For many families in Kenya — whether resident Kenyan Families, returning from abroad, or newly relocating — this decision is often overwhelming. Parents of children with diverse needs often face unique challenges when seeking the right school. While some know the right questions to ask, many find the process overwhelming — unsure of what to look for in effective programs, clear goals, or structured learning support.

I strongly believe that education should be accessible to all — regardless of language, background, or challenges. Inclusive Pathways Hub was created to bridge this gap.

At the same time, many schools face significant challenges of their own. Some have underdeveloped learning support departments or programs that, while existing on paper, lack clarity, sustainability, or measurable outcomes. Others struggle with limited expertise in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) or with sourcing qualified, experienced, and competent teachers.

I have seen firsthand how inclusive practices transform not only learners, but also their families, classrooms, and entire school communities. We exist to empower families and schools by providing expert guidance, robust frameworks, and continuous support — so that every learner, regardless of ability, can access quality education and truly thrive.

But our vision does not stop at school. Too often, learners with diverse needs complete high school and face limited options for higher education or employment, despite having great potential and skills. At Inclusive Pathways Hub, we are also working toward future accessibility in colleges and universities, ensuring that learners have clear end-goal plans that prepare them for life beyond school.

The bigger goal is to ensure that every learner achieves their full potential, receives the necessary support, and is empowered to live as independent and fulfilling a life as possible.
